g-shock x blues

G-Shock and the Blues, as part of their commercial partnership agreement, released a limited edition G-Shock watch earlier this year. There were two key components for this project - the watch itself, and a display box which would house the it. For the display box, I envisioned a sleek black outer, with logo elements indented into the sides and front, including the 4 championship stars, Blues roundel, Est. ‘96 lock-up and “We are the Blues”. Once opened, it would reveal a bright blue interior, with the water texture printed through it. A personalised message talked to the significance of these elements and the watch itself. The watch contained the same elements as the box including water pattern and logos coloured in such a way to match the main “G-SHOCK” logo colour, to ensure a cohesive design aesthetic overall.
